1st Officer: Senate testimony
“I saw a pistol between Phillip’s foot, the bullets could be seen through the space in the magazine and I counted four (4) live ammos (a full loaded magazine should contain 7 bullets) looking further, I saw a live ammo on the deck beside same shoes.. I spent about two (2) minutes trying to find where the fatal bullet exited but I didn’t find it!”
Dean Panganiban & Grimares reported (Senate hearing):
The bullet recovered at the alleged scene was a cal. .45 bullet fired through the barrel of a colt firearm type.
The bullet was slightly deformed on the side and base which resembles a bullet hitting a bullet resisting object, sidewise such as metal wall and the like that will cause deformities to the bullet.
Close examinations made on this bullet from photographs taken by the authorities (Police) reveal a foreign matter adhering on the nose portion. It appears like cotton fibers, which meant that the bullet could have penetrated first to an object with this kind of material and carried it to the target.
The alleged bullet/dent hole was made on a metal/iron wall with wallpaper. The foreign matter was not identified to have come from the bullet dent/hole.
Definitely, if this bullet would have to penetrate through a head it would not have any cotton adhering on its nose.
Mr. Hill’s Senate testimony:
“First, the bullet hits the soft object, the skin, then it hits a very hard object, the skull, then it hits more soft tissues the brain, then it hits another hard object the skull, it comes out to soft tissues. So, in this matrix of textures, you have two very hard surfaces. That if you have a bang on your head, your skull is very solid… It takes a lot to penetrate it. And this little very soft core of lead bullet even with a hard brass jacket is not solid, it will deform, it will flatten back..”
